Your Journey to Maldives
It was the first time I took a seaplane and I was not sure what to expect but from the moment we took off, I was lost in the beautiful colors of turquoise and emerald crystal-clear water. In the brief time that we were on the plane, I learned there were 1,192 islands in the Maldives but only 182 are inhabited and at one time, shells were used as currency! When we finally landed at our resort, Heritance Aarah I was enchanted by the most serene ambiance and unparalleled hospitality. Imagine waking up in an overwater villa, surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons teeming with colorful coral reefs. The first floor of your villa is glass allowing you to see into the ocean. When you walk onto your deck, there’s an infinity pool and steps taking you right into the ocean. I felt like I was in heaven for the next few days.
We spent our days snorkeling, dolphin watching, and simply lounging by the beach, soaking up the sun in the tranquil surroundings. Our nights were filled with exquisite cuisine, from fresh seafood to international delicacies, and we pampered ourselves with spa treatments that rejuvenated both our bodies and soul. We spent one afternoon exploring the rich cultural heritage of the Maldivian islands, visiting local markets, and witnessing traditional dance performances under the starry skies.
I was thrilled to have this unforgettable adventure to the Maldives, a tropical haven where the azure waters kiss the pristine white sands.
