Masai Mara
Over the next two days, you’ll experience the full magic of the Masai Mara, where the drama of the African wild unfolds before your eyes. Early mornings and late afternoons offer the best opportunities to witness the incredible wildlife, as predators roam the plains and herds of elephants, giraffes, and buffalo gather around watering holes. Each day, you’ll enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, where your expert guide will help you spot the elusive cheetah, leopards lounging in trees, and possibly even a lion pride on the hunt. The Mara is also home to the famous Great Migration (seasonal), where millions of wildebeest make their perilous journey across the Mara River. Optional activities such as a hot air balloon safari (USD 520 per person) offer a unique bird’s-eye view of the savanna. In addition to the wildlife, you’ll have the chance to visit a local Maasai village, where you’ll gain insight into the culture and traditions of the Maasai people.
