After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, your first day in Kenya will be spent discovering the city’s wildlife and cultural gems. Start with a visit to the Giraffe Centre, where you can get up close to the endangered Rothschild giraffe, a rare species native to Kenya. Next, head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet orphaned elephants and learn about conservation efforts in the region. After a traditional Kenyan lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon is yours to explore at your leisure or simply relax back at the hotel.

Laikipia

Today marks the start of your safari adventure as you head to the rugged wilderness of Laikipia. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Wilson Airport for a short flight to Mutara Camp, located in the heart of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a warm welcome and settle into your luxurious tented camp. The afternoon will be spent on your first thrilling game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino – in their natural habitat. As the sun sets, enjoy a sundowner and an evening under the stars.

Laikipia

Begin your day early with a hearty breakfast at the camp before heading out for a full day of exploration. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is home to a remarkable array of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino and the famous Northern White Rhino, which you’ll have the chance to meet during your visit. Spend your day on thrilling game drives, where your guide will take you to some of the best wildlife viewing spots in the conservancy. For those seeking more adventure, optional activities like lion or dog tracking, night game drives, or a bush walk with expert guides are available (at additional cost). Each experience is designed to bring you closer to the natural wonders of Kenya.

Masai Mara

After a final breakfast in Laikipia, you’ll take a scenic flight to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the most renowned safari destinations in the world. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your luxurious Little Zebra River Camp, set in a prime location for game viewing along the Mara River. The camp is the perfect blend of comfort and adventure, with spacious tents offering stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on your first game drive in the Mara, known for its vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and the occasional lion stalking the plains.

 

July 12 -13, 2025

Masai Mara

Over the next two days, you’ll experience the full magic of the Masai Mara, where the drama of the African wild unfolds before your eyes. Early mornings and late afternoons offer the best opportunities to witness the incredible wildlife, as predators roam the plains and herds of elephants, giraffes, and buffalo gather around watering holes. Each day, you’ll enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, where your expert guide will help you spot the elusive cheetah, leopards lounging in trees, and possibly even a lion pride on the hunt. The Mara is also home to the famous Great Migration (seasonal), where millions of wildebeest make their perilous journey across the Mara River. Optional activities such as a hot air balloon safari (USD 520 per person) offer a unique bird’s-eye view of the savanna. In addition to the wildlife, you’ll have the chance to visit a local Maasai village, where you’ll gain insight into the culture and traditions of the Maasai people.

Masai Mara

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the camp before flying back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to a local restaurant for a farewell lunch, where you can reflect on your incredible journey. Afterward, a day-use room at the Crowne Plaza Nairobi Airport will be available for relaxation before your departure. When the time comes, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight, leaving with memories of a truly once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
